Fall Napkin Craft
I FELL IN LOVE with these fall napkins my aunt gave me! I think she has a special love for napkins and I’m so glad she does, because for one, I never buy them, and for two, she brings me new ones each season. These napkins have been my favorite ones yet! I mean HOW CUTE ARE THESE?? And can we just agree that they are just too cute to use??
When I was decorating my coffee bar for fall, I wasn’t getting the look I was really looking for. Things just weren’t flowing, like AT ALL!! Don’t y’all hate when that happens? I spend so much time decorating and doing something I think I’m pretty good at and then I step back and I’m like…..WHY didn’t I just leave this alone??? HA!
I knew all I really needed was a little color. Then it hit me! Those super cute napkins had just the right amount of color for the top shelf of my coffee bar (which is where I needed the color). So then, I was thinking how I have seen other crafters make different crafts with napkins. SOOO GENIUS!!!
So, I grabbed a napkin, went back to my craft room, went through my craft supplies, and found everything I needed to turn this napkin into super cute shelf decor! Only 5 supplies! That is it!
This project is so simple ANYONE can do it! And y’all, I am ALLLL about something being easy. It was also very cheap!! Yep that’s right! I said EASY AND CHEAP!!
So now that you know the supplies needed, here’s what you do:
Separate the front and back part of the napkin so there are 2 separate pieces.
Cut the top layer just a little bit bigger than you block.
Spread mod podge on the wood block and lay the napkin evenly over the block. Press your fingers carefully over the napkin. Be sure you don’t press too hard or the napkin will rip, but you do want to get as many bubbles out as you can. Don’t worry about the access napkin hanging over the edges. You will sand that off with your sanding block or a piece of sandpaper. Of course I had to improvise with a nail file ha! But hey, it work perfectly.
And that’s it guys!! Super easy and cheap!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way it looks on my Fall Coffee Bar!! This was the perfect craft and so much fun! I hope this will encourage and inspire you to craft something fall!
