Christmas Shelf Sitter Using Christmas Cardstock
Shelf sitters are probably the easiest craft to make. They are also a must have for home decor. You can find TONS of cute card stock at Hobby Lobby and Michaels, and it is SO cheap!!
I found this Santa card stock at HL. I already had this shelf sitter that my aunt had picked up on clearance (I think at HL and it was really cheap too), but you can find shelf sitters similar to this at the Dollar Tree.
These are all the supplies I needed for this craft.
The shelf sitter had paper on it, but I ripped that off before I started with this project.
All I did here was cut a square and mod podged it to the shelf sitter.
I let that dry for a few minutes and added another layer of mod podge on the top to protect the paper. You could also use a mod podge spray, but this was all I had on hand.
After that was dry, which only took about 10 minutes, I sanded around the edges to make everything even. I used a sanding block, but you can use regular sand paper or even a coarse nail file. Just whatever you have on hand.
That’s all the steps!! It literally cannot get any easier than that!! You can use whatever card stock matches your Christmas decorations. These also make great Christmas gifts! For one, they are handmade and for two, they are inexpensive! I hope y’all find some really cute card stock to make you one to add to your Christmas decor!
