Orange and Black Halloween Coffee Bar

This is the first time in YEARS that I have decorated for Halloween. And even before, all I decorated was my table. When I was scrolling through Instagram I saw where my cousin was decorating her table and was like….you know maybe I will do just a little! Yep! I was inspired! I love being inspired!! So of course, I decided to redo my coffee bar! I pulled all my fall decor down and started with a clean, blank, slate.

Now because I haven’t done any Halloween decorating in a long time, I didn’t really have any decorations. In case y’all don’t know this about me, I’m CHEAP! I hate spending a lot of money on home decor, but I LOVE to decorate our home. This is why I like to craft and create things with what I already have at home.

Okay. So I hit up my local Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Michaels, and Burlington, and of course I went and pilfered a few things from my mommas.

Since I had to do some crafting, I started with that first. I picked this sign up at the Dollar Tree in the $5.00 section. All I did with this was paint it white and brushed a little black paint around the edges.

I bought some wooden houses from the Family Dollar, spray painted one of them black and sprinkled it with black glitter. I wanted to add a little sparkle on my coffee bar. I love glitter!! I don’t know why because it makes a mess, but I just love it! And of course I didn’t get a pic of that either. I’m really trying to do better with those in progress pics!

While that was drying, I painted some wood blocks and spelled out the word BOO. I bought these at the Dollar Tree. $1.00 for each block!

The only thing I had left to paint was some glitter springs. I had them in my stash of floral, but I didn’t have any black. I only had white and silver, so I took a couple springs and painted them black. Imagine me not getting pics of this step either…….

While they finished drying, I started working on my shelf. I found this black net at the Family Dollar and it was perfect to drape over my shelf. So I did that first. Then, I went through my home decor tote, found some candle holders, a bird cage, and a vase for the glitter sprigs. The ghosts came from the Dollar Tree for $1.00. I found the orange battery operated lights at Dollar General for $3.00. I knew I needed some orange on the top shelf without adding too much. So the lights were perfect!

Let me show y’all all the cuteness so far!

I just LOVED how it was turning out!! I would’ve liked to have had another pack of lights, but I couldn’t find anymore at our Dollar Generals so I had to work with what I had.

I left my white cups and white saucers in the baskets and added those orange glitter pumpkins to the other baskets. The pumpkins were another Dollar Tree purchase!

After I finished the shelf, I worked on my tiered tray. All the things on my tray I already had except for the orange broom. I found that at Michaels.

I always wait til the end to add my mugs and my towels. Those cute black mugs I found in a set at Burlington and found the other mug at Michaels.

The hand towels I pilfered from my momma!!

I put my k-cups in that cute Halloween canister. I found that at Michael’s. I think it may have been about $7.00 on sale. Then I just added some orange and black ribbon around my mason jar of coffee and of course my spoon holder because that always stays on my coffee bar.

That’s it!! I wish I had an exact total of what I spent putting this together, but I don’t. I’m gonna say it was around $40.00! So really that’s not bad! Especially since I didn’t have much to work with.

I hope this inspires you guys! I love being inspired by others and hope that I can do that for you!
